Fresh off its debut alongside Forza Motorsport 7, additional details about the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS are continuing to emerge.
Automobile Magazine was one of the lucky publications to go for a passenger ride in a GT2 RS prototype and learn some interesting tidbits about the craziest vehicle to ever wear the 911 badge.
Elsewhere, we have learnt that the car's engine revs to 7,200 rpm and that peak downforce sits at approximately 770 pounds (349 kg). Helping make use of all of this downforce are tires that measure 265/30 at the front and 325/30 at the rear. Also found beneath the crazy bodywork are torque vectoring, rear-axle steering and a variable locking rear differential.
Porsche has yet to reveal when deliveries of the most-hardcore GT2 RS will commence, but when they do, speculators won't take long to flood the used car market with 'used' examples at ridiculous premiums.
