This one-of-a-kind drift build came really close to call it a day during a film shooting on a twisty road in Portland.
Ryan Tuerck’s Ferrari-powered Toyota GT86 is perhaps the most crazy engine swap in the drift community and certainly the only one of its kind in the whole world.
Things got a little scary during the first shoot of the day, with Tuerck picking a bad line on the transfer, forcing the infamous GT456 to give a little kiss to the mountain and wound one of its track rods.
Fortunately the damage was too small to stop the crew from shooting; with the car fixed and Ryan hungry for some corners, this short drift film continued shooting, giving us one of the most satisfying hooning clips of the year filled with angry Ferrari noises.
Did we mention they’re using an actual Ferrari 458 as a camera car? Prepare for some really satisfying drifting action with one of the most intriguing cars on the planet being driven by one crazy driver.
