Audi is gearing up to unveil the all-new A6 and the company has announced plans to hold a film competition to help support the model's launch.
The competition kicks off on December 21st but Audi says they are looking for "young talents and filmmakers to show off their vision" for the world premiere of the new A6 sedan. The company adds that people who are interested in the competition should focus on comfort, digitalization, and sportiness.
Audi is keeping tight-lipped about the car but the company did confirm it will be unveiled next year. That's not much to go on but previous spy photos have shown the model will follow in the footsteps of the A8 and adopt a stylish front fascia with a wide grille that is flanked by slender headlights.
Under the hood, we can expect an assortment of four- and six-cylinder engines including a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 which develops 340 PS (250 kW) and 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque. Later on, we can expect high-performance models and possibly a couple of plug-in hybrid variants.
Regardless of what's under the hood, the new A6 will be significantly more advanced than its predecessor as the model is slated to come with the Level 3 semi-autonomous driving system from the A8.
