Dacia is promoting the second generation Duster in its homeland by using the famous soundtrack of the Ghostbusters movies.
The Romanian SUV isn’t chasing any ghosts in its official TV spot, but it does highlight some of its novelties that are meant to make it more appealing to potential customers.
Portrayed as a go-anywhere vehicle, the all-new Duster features new equipment like a multi-view camera system, blond spot warning, hill descent control, hill start assist, automatic headlights, keyless entry and new curtain airbags, among others.
Dacia will launch the second-gen Duster in various markets across Europe in the coming months, with pricing to be announced soon. In the United Kingdom, it is set to arrive next summer, and buyers will be able to choose between two petrol engines, with 115PS (113hp) and 125PS (123hp), with the former coming in an LPG version as well, and two diesels that are rated at 90PS (89hp) and 110PS (108hp) respectively.
