Kia reminds us of the old Top Gear with an unusual comparison between the new Forte and a Lamborghini Aventador, which takes place on a track.
However, don't expect the compact sedan to engage in a drag war with the Italian exotic, or to use all sorts of tricks to lap the track faster, because this comparison takes place at a standstill, and highlights the obvious.
The Forte has twice as many doors as the Lamborghini Aventador, and a boot large enough for different cargo. It can sit five passengers inside, and gets a few extra amenities over its exotic 'contender', such as a touchscreen infotainment system and wireless phone charging.
Kia eventually admits that the Aventador's 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine makes it go like hell, if "you're into that whole speed thing", whereas the Forte's 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, with 147hp, is decent enough for every day driving.
There's also a huge price gap between the two: about $400,000, which would get you a new Forte of your own, and "a small villa in Italy", according to the Korean automaker.
