Set to rival the likes of the Toyota C-HR, the Peugeot 4008 will essentially be a coupe variant of the 3008. As a result, it will have a sleek exterior design, slim side windows, a bespoke front grille, and a single light bar at the rear, Auto Express reports.
In terms of engines, a three-cylinder PureTech turbo petrol will sit at the base of the range. It will be joined by the 1.6-liter THP engine of the DS 7 Crossback and should be complemented by a pair of BlueHDi diesels, displacing 1.6-liters and 2.0-liters respectively.
Customers will also be offered two different plug-in hybrids. The first will pair the 1.6-liter THP engine with a single electric motor at the front axle, delivering a total of 240 hp. The plug-in range will then be topped off with a variant using the 1.6-liter alongside electric motors at both axles. Up to 300 hp is possible.
