2018 Range Rover Sport SVR Facelift Looks Ready To Rumble

The first pictures of the facelifted Range Rover Sport SVR have surfaced online ahead of its official unveiling.

Looking bold and aggressive, the model adopts a new front bumper with larger air intakes and a carbon fiber grille surround. The Range Rover Sport has also been equipped with a new carbon fiber hood which is partially painted and features two large vents.

The sporty styling continues further back as designers installed new front fender vents and revised side skirts. We can also see new wheels which are backed up by a high-performance braking system with red calipers.

Out back, the changes are less noticeable but include a body-color lower bumper, a painted rear diffuser, and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system with a chrome finish. Other highlights include SVR badging and a carbon fiber insert on the tailgate.

Only a few interior pictures were posted by Autowp but they show the model will follow in the footsteps of the Range Rover Velar and adopt a second display for the climate control system. There also appears to be updated switchgear, new seats, and revised upholstery.

Power will be provided by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine and its output is expected to be increased to around 575 PS (422 kW). This should enable the Range Rover Sport SVR to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds before hitting a top speed in excess of 162 mph (260 km/h).

Thanks to Niko for the tip!
