Updated 2017 Nissan X-Trail Ready To Hit Europe [30 Pics]

Nissan is launching the updated X-Trail together with the smaller Qashqai next month in Europe and released the full details of the range.

The new X-Trail benefits from a refreshed exterior that now features Nissan’s latest ‘V-Motion’ front grille, new headlights with integrated LED DRLs, redesigned full-LED taillights, new bumpers and more.

Nissan has also added four new colors to the X-Trail’s palette –Orange Pearl, Red Pearl, Blue Pearl Metallic and Dark Brown Pearl.

The interior was also updated with better-quality materials, a new D-shaped steering wheel, new leather knee pads on either side of the center console, and a gloss black finish on the air vents among others.

The range also benefits from the addition of the N-Connecta trim level as the third of the four available grades, bringing more value to the customer.

Just like the Qashqai, the new Nissan X-Trail can also be optioned with the company’s semi-autonomous ProPilot system. Other driver assistance systems include Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Recognition, Stand Still Assist, Intelligent Park Assist and more.

Customers will still be able to choose between front- or all-wheel drive, five or seven seats and either a six-speed manual or CVT Xtronic transmission when the new Nissan X-Trail goes on sale next month.
