EPA Reveals Karma Revero Has Just 240 Miles Of Range

The EPA has released figures confirming the range of the Karma Revero and it seems that the world may have been better off if the Fisker Karma was never re-born.

Throughout its media campaign to promote the Revero, Karma consistently claimed that it would have an electric and petrol range of around 300 miles (483km) and 50 miles (80km) of pure-electric range. However, the EPA’s figures reveal that neither of those claims are true.

Over the combined cycle, the EPA’s all-electric range sits at 37 miles (60km) and its total PHEV range is just 240 miles (386km). What’s more, the Revero is the only 2018MY PHEV where owners will spend more (+$500) on fuel over a 5-year period than the average new car on sale. Last but not least, MPGe figures sit at a lackluster 34 MPGe city, 37 MPGe highway and 35 MPGe combined, InsideEVs reports.

Compared to the six-year old Fisker Karma, the Revero only achieves four additional miles of electric range and its total range remains identical at 240 miles. This comes despite the huge advances in battery technology over the last six years.

What’s more, the Revero is more expensive than the Karma was, starting at around $130,000.
