Lamborghini's Huracan family counts several members, with two- and four-wheel drive, but the meanest of them all is about to be presented later today.
The short video teaser posted on social media is accompanied by a caption that says "RacingRedefined", "Lamborghini", and "HuracanEVO", so we are likely looking at the most extreme version of the brand's Ferrari 488 GTB rival.
Another image reveals the Gallardo Squadra Corse, with a few words that could have a lot of meaning: "the time has come". So, could this be the successor of the hardcore Gallardo? Anything's possible at this point, but we should know for sure in the coming hours, when Lamborghini is expected to drop an extensive gallery and press release.
However, until they do, we will remind you that the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse is basically a street legal racer, based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo that ran in Blancpain. It even uses the race car's 5.0-liter V10 engine, which makes 570PS (562hp), and comes with plenty of visual and technical upgrades, thus making it as fast as possible.
