Two weeks after Richard Hammond's shocking Rimac Concept_One crash, The Grand Tour presenter is out of hospital and trying to make the most out of his unfortunate situation.
Hobbling around on crutches, the Hamster posted a video of him with his new electric vehicle, a mobility scooter. Not satisfied with your typical scooter for the elderly, Hammond has given it a twin crutch conversion, allowing him to easily slide in his crutches before taking off.
Unlike the 1,224 hp Concept_One that Hammond was driving at the time of his crash, his new toy probably has no more than a handful of horsepower beneath the skin. Nevertheless, he seems pretty proud of his creation and is making fun of his, thankfully not too severe, especially considering the seriousness of his accident, injury.
As he was lucky enough to escape with only a broken knee, here's hoping that he'll be able to recover soon enough and be back driving the world's best cars for The Grand Tour season 2.
