Fab Design Looking To Unload A Tuned Maybach 57S - Any Takers?

Ever since Mercedes-Benz came out with the Maybach 57 and 62 models in the late 90's, the ultra-luxury saloon segment has evolved to include the ultimate in on-board technology.

Whether it's active safety tech, connectivity or convenience, owning a brand new large luxury saloon means riding around in a non-compromising way, be it inside a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a Bentley Mulsanne or the latest Mercedes-Maybach.

Then there's the previous model to consider, which is still a very in-your face type of car, especially if you get one with a wide-body kit like this one from Fab Design.

Unfortunately, all we know about this particular vehicle is that it's up for sale, without any price listed - which isn't all that uncommon when it comes to luxury cars, as potential customers are generally invited to inquire in person.

What we can tell you about it is that the wide-body kit is made out of carbon fiber, featuring wheel arch vents, a new front apron design and an optimized engine, with power now up to 680 horses. Torque has also gone up from 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) to 1,180 Nm (870 lb-ft), allowing for a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h (192 mph).

In other words, it may not be nearly as clever on the road as a new Mercedes-Maybach saloon, but it should out-run it if that's your thing.
