Toyota 86 Gets A Virtual Mercedes-AMG GT S Tune

It has become sort of a thing to imagine the Toyota 86 in various forms these days, but the latest rendering is probably one of the craziest of them all.

WinningDesigns has taken the Japanese sports car and fitted it with the front end of a Mercedes-AMG GT S. Moreover, the 86 has also received a Liberty Walk-inspired body kit, a boot-mounted wing, various decals, and a set of wide rims, that complete its new look.

There are a few obvious flaws with this virtual project, such as the front end, which isn’t exactly aligned with the rest if the car, but nevertheless, it's still impressive to look at. And it would have been even sexier with the new Panamericana grille taking center stage at the front, as the brand's latest performance models, such as the AMG GT R, GLC and GLC Coupe.

Daydreaming enthusiasts would also imagine this Toyota 86 with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under its hood, developed by AMG, which pushes 585PS (577hp) and 700Nm (516lb-ft) of torque to the wheels, in the beastly GT R, instead of the stock 2.0-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated unit. Hey, if you can fit a Ferrari engine in the 86, why not dream of an AMG unit too?
