Max Verstappen Tackles Silverstone In F1 2017 Ahead of British GP

As F1 2017 inches closer to its launch on August 25, Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen recently had the opportunity to experience the new game on the short circuit at Silverstone ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix.

According to the flying Dutchman, the game has managed to help capture some of the differences between 2017 Formula 1 cars and those from previous years. After the change of rules, 2017's cars produce much more downforce than previously and, according to Verstappen, this has been translated into the game with faster cornering speeds and a much more physical drive.

As we recently learnt, the game will also include a number of classic cars from years gone by, including the championship-winning RB6 from 2010. Verstappen wasn’t even close to the sport seven years ago, but he can immediately feel the differences between it and the current car.

Unsurprisingly, the best way to experience F1 2017 will be with a steering wheel, racing seat and pedal set, but even with a keyboard or controller, we imagine it will be very enjoyable as well.
