Racing your stock supercar against rivals with significantly more power means you're either going to lose, or earn the respect of your peers.
As it so happens, cars with '911' written on their rear ends rarely get left behind, be that in a straight line or around a circuit where their handling characteristics really come into play.
On this particular occasion though, this 991 GT3 RS with its stock 500 horses went up against a mighty 800 PS Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with a Morendi M800 tune and a Corvette Z06 (C6) putting down no less than 700 PS.
In the first race, it's the 500 PS Porsche 911 GT3 RS, with its 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque and its zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 3.3 seconds against the 800 PS Merc SLS AMG. As you can see, the horsepower discrepancy is pretty big, so expecting the Porsche to win, or even keep it close, would be unrealistic. Or would it?
The second race saw the GT3 RS take on the 700 PS Corvette, and it was just as interesting to watch as the first run. Rest assured, the 911 does not make a fool of itself in either race - but seeing is believing, so you can watch the video right after the jump to see how it fared.
