Tesla has claimed a victory in Arizona and will now be able to sell its vehicles in the state.
Last week, a state judge approved a dealer license which had been issued by the DMV to Tesla late last year. This license means the electric automaker will be able to offer test drives and sell vehicles out of the two service centers and the gallery it currently operates in Phoenix.
Tesla initially tried to change state laws that required all vehicles be sold through franchised dealers, but changed tactics last year when it asserted that existing laws didn't apply to it because it's never had franchise dealerships and would have been unfair for it to compete in the space.
Electrek reports that Tesla is still attempting to lift sales bans in Texas and Connnecticut after numerous failed attempts.
