Ford F-22 F-150 Raptor Sells For $300,000

The Ford F-22 F-150 Raptor has been auctioned off for $300,000 at AirVenture Oshkosh.

Purchased by Gary Ackerman of Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas, the model has found a perfect home as the company notes Ackerman serves as Honorary Commander/Ambassador for the Air Force’s F-22 Squadron at Nellis Airforce Base in Nevada.

Jointly created by Ford and DeBerti Design, the one-off model is based on the F-150 Raptor and features a variety of carbon fiber components including the hood and fender flares. The truck has also been equipped with power retractable side steps, LED KC Hilites, and a Borla stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system with carbon fiber tips.

The unique styling doesn't stop there as designers installed a LineX bedliner, a bed-mounted storage system, and a titanium grille featuring the silhouette of an F-22. The truck also has custom forged beadlock wheels with Falcon Wildpeak tires that are backed up by six-piston Alcon calipers.

Ford didn't say much about interior but it apparently features two-tone leather seats, F-22 inspired accents, and a 1,500 watt Kicker audio system.

Power is provided by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine which has been tuned to produce 545 hp (406 kW) and 660 lb-ft (893 Nm) of torque - an increase of 95 hp (70 kW) and 150 lb-ft (203 Nm) of torque.

The design team also installed a modified front suspension, a Deaver rear spring pack, and Fox bypass series shocks with adjustable compression and rebound valving to "customize damping for on-road and off-road use."
