The first video reviews of the new Ferrari 812 Superfast have landed, giving us a first taste of the new Italian V12 beast.
We hardly believe there was anyone complaining about the F12’s lack of power; with 740hp on tap, that Ferrari was scarily fast as it was but the company thinks that there’s always room for more.
Enter the 812 Superfast which might sound a bit childish but no one can blame the latest Ferrari GT for not doing what it says on the description: 0-62mph comes in 2.9 seconds while hitting 124mph from standing requires just 7.9 seconds. Yep, the new Ferrari is super-fast.
Of course it all comes down to that engine: the V12 has now grown to a 6.5-litre capacity, features a new extremely high-pressure injection system at 350bar and redlines at 8,900rpm. The numbers are 800PS (789hp) at 8,500rpm and 530lb-ft of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
Head after the jump below and watch Autocar and Auto Express deliver their first impressions on the most powerful series-production Ferrari.
