The Lister Motor Company is only a month away from revealing its fastest and most powerful car ever in the £140,000 Jaguar F-Type-based Thunder, at the Historic Motorsport International, February 15th-18th.

As a limited production model, the Lister Thunder will be available in just 99 examples, and while full specs will stay hidden until the actual reveal, we already know that it produces 666 HP, helping it get to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just over 3 seconds before maxing out north of 200 mph (322 km/h).
The supercharged 5.0-liter V8 Thunder also boasts extensive visual modifications, such as the custom made carbon fiber front bumper, extended splitter, bonnet vents and Lister decals.

At the rear, the bumper also features a carbon fiber design, housing the large Lister carbon exhaust tips that help make this F-Type sound “thundery”. Buyers will be able to opt for the carbon fiber bonnet as an option, while a retro-fit carbon kit will also be offered for existing F-Type models from £19,950.

Inside, the Lister Thunder wears Bridge of Weir Nappa leather, with logos stitched into the headrests and the seat pattern echoing the car’s grille. As for the dashboard, door cards, roof lining and steering wheel, they’re all hand stitched in matching Nappa leather and finished with contrast stitching matching the accents of the exterior.

“Like Brabus and AMG with Mercedes and Alpina with BMW, we are hoping to become synonymous once again with tuning Jaguar vehicles, giving customers new enhanced, bespoke performance and design alternatives to Jaguar’s acclaimed model program. Although we are not directly affiliated with Jaguar Land Rover, Lister has a Jaguar tuning heritage dating back 65 years. Our new Lister Thunder is the fastest and most powerful Lister ever created with a 208 mph top speed and a 0-100 mph time of just 6.8 seconds. I am utterly proud of what we have achieved, and the Thunder is just the beginning,” stated Lister CEO, Lawrence Whittaker.
