Following its spy shot debut two months ago when a prototype was spotted at Hyundai's development center in Germany, the all-new Santa Fe has once again been caught on camera, this time lapping the Nurburgring.
Unfortunately, this particular car is wearing even more camouflage than the one we saw back in April, although there are a few differences, such as the missing roof bars and the presence of Recaro racing seats.
Still, underneath it all, the all-new Santa Fe will be wearing a new front end, boasting two separate sets of headlights - slim LED units on top and regular lamps flanking the new honeycomb grille.
The Korean automaker is expected to continue offering the Santa Fe with either five or seven seats, while possibly utilizing different nameplates for the two versions. Entry-level models should continue to use FWD powertrains as standard, with AWD available as an optional extra.
Speaking of powertrains, we're expecting a range of petrol and diesel engines, as well as a plug-in hybrid version. The diesel models should only be available in select markets though, with a focus on Europe.
As for when we'll be able to see the new Santa Fe in Hyundai showrooms, odds are no sooner than late 2018.
