Daimler’s plethora of new models revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show also include two special edition variants of the ever-popular G-Class.
Dubbed the Mercedes-AMG G63 and G65 Exclusive Editions, the duo are expected to be a last hurrah for the current G-Class and come equipped with a selection of standard components that are normally costly options.
Inside, the two include the designo Exclusive package consisting of two-tone leather AMG sport seats and a two-tone leather dashboard to match. There are also a number of other accents offered including diamond-quilted areas on the seats and door panels and carbon fiber or piano black lacquer trim.
Power for the G63 Exclusive Edition comes from a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 with 571 PS and 560 lb-ft of torque while the G65 has AMG’s familiar twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 with 630 PS and 737 lb-ft.
