While the four-door Genesis G70 was just announced to take on the likes of the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class, a sports wagon version would be needed in order to truly fight fire with fire over in Europe.
Unfortunately, it seems that Genesis isn't planning any other body styles for the G70, which means that like the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the G70 will only be available as a four-door.
Of course, we can always dream of more practical things, which is what led us to this render by X-Tomi Design, depicting the new G70 as a sporty estate, or Sportwagon if you will.
As you can see, most of the sedan's muscular design lines are still there. The flared arches, long bonnet and other prominent lines truly do inspire sportiness, which is what Genesis wanted all along.
In a hypothetical battle against the 3-Series Touring, A4 Avant and C-Class Estate, the G70 Sportwagon might not even land last in terms of styling, although that's obviously debatable. How would you rank it?
