Mercedes AMG has been churning out jaw-dropping, monster E-Classes for quite some time now but whenever a new one arrives, the monster-o-meter keeps showing higher values.
And how can it be otherwise when the Germans decide to not only make the new E63 even more powerful but also more grippy, thanks to the addition of a trick all-wheel drive system which comes along with an off switch, also known as ‘Drift Mode’.
That means that owners can now enjoy their super saloon even in colder climates and have the option of turning everything off, whenever they feel like exploring what 604hp can do to the rear tires of their new AMG.
The new Mercedes AMG E63 S is capable of a 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds while the top speed limiter can be raised to a more Autobahn-like 186mph if you tick the right option.
So it appears that the new E63 is a monster with a very persuasive can-do attitude but is it enough to convince Chris Harris? Let’s find out.
