Just a couple of months ago, BMW issued a recall for the M760Li over an oil leak. Now it's recalling it again over a similar issue – only this time it's more than doubled the scope.
The initial recall, issued two months ago today, identified a problem with the big performance sedan that posed the threat of leaking oil onto the front brakes.
The M760Li is a new model at the top of the 7 Series range that stands as the performance flagship, packing a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 rated at 601 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque to take on the likes of the Audi S8 and Mercedes-AMG S63, not to mention the Alpina B7.
Along with the M760 recall, BMW is also calling in another 92 additional 7 Series models over a completely different issue. This time it's the left tail lamp assembly, which will need to be replaced on certain examples of the 2013-2015 740i, 740Li, 740Lxi, 750i, 750xi, 750Li, 750Lxi, and 2014 ActiveHybrid 7.
