Pedestrian Ends Police Chase By Hitting Fleeing Suspect With Her Handbag

High-speed police chases often end in a crash, or with the officers ramming the bad guys, but there are a few exceptions to this rule.

One of them sees pedestrians getting involved, and ending the entire thing in a split second. A good example is this woman, who didn’t have to think twice before hitting a suspect who was trying to get away from a patrol car on a scooter with her handbag .

What exactly she was carrying inside her bag is a pretty good question, but then again, we do know that some of our better halves have the uncanny ability of hiding an entire closet, and half of the bathroom, in their handbags (okay, mine does, at least). Whatever it might have been, though, was heavy enough to knock over the suspect, before she casually walked away as if nothing happened!

We cannot tell you exactly where this incident occurred, as the description of the short film only says that the alleged criminal was arrested for theft, but judging by the urban landscape, Russia would be a good candidate as any.
