The Nürburgring has seen its fair share of fatalities over the years so it comes as little surprise that many people were outraged when they saw photos of a child driving a Range Rover Sport on the Nordschleife.
First noticed by The Drive, the pictures were taken by RaceTracker and show a small child sitting on an adult's lap while he drives around the famed racing circuit.
While it's not uncommon for parents to let their kids drive before they're legally allowed, this normally occurs in a relatively controlled environment at slow speeds. The Nürburgring is basically the exact opposite as it's filled with other vehicles traveling at high speeds.
The adult in the photo is most likely in charge of the pedals and the steering wheel, but the situation could have easily taken a turn for the worse if the child jerked the steering wheel or the vehicle was involved in an accident.
Many people are calling for the adult to be banned from the Ring but, at the very least, the publication reports he violated at least one rule that requires every driver to have a valid driver's license or face a €50 ($58) fine.
