Tuned 720HP Ford GT Is In For A Surprise Against Stock Lambo Huracan

Modern supercars are getting really fast these days, but if we had to bet on a modified 2005 Ford GT against a stock Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4, our vote would go to the former, especially on a straight-line race from a rolling start.

After all, the Ford GT is lighter and has almost 100hp more than the Italian exotic, courtesy of an upgraded pulley, tune and exhaust.

On the other hand, the Lamborghini Huracan is powered by a naturally aspirated V10 with 602hp that’s paired to a lightning-quick seven-speed dual-clutch auto and all-wheel drive. Despite not featuring the headline-grabbing numbers, the Huracan also has proved from time to time that it’s ridiculously fast on a straight line.

So what happens when the two supercars get together? Well, the Ford GT understandably lost the classic drag race from a full stop, but the surprise came when they went from a rolling start, which eliminates the grip advantage of the Lambo and helps the more powerful Ford putting its power down more efficiently.

Watch the video linked below and see for yourself just how fast the baby Lambo really is.
