Carlex Design Spruces Up Interior On 2nd-Gen Mercedes Viano

Even though we've seen plenty of passenger vans with custom interiors lately, this second-generation Viano (V-Class) with a dual-tone leather cabin, wood and plenty of Alcantara, really stands out.

Unlike most builds (newer models), this second-gen Viano isn't even the facelifted version, which popped up in 2010, so turning its interior into something even remotely luxurious must have been more of a challenge for tuner Carlex Design.

Alas, their hard work and experience with custom interiors paid off, and as you can see, most of the cabin's features have been covered with materials that definitely look more...upmarket.

Dual-tone leather is spread all over, with predominantly brown patches on the upper dashboard, upper steering wheel, gearshift lever and certain sections of the seats (front and rear). Then there's the wood, found in the middle of the dashboard and on the door panels.

Last, but not least, Alcantara pillars, headliner and rear quarter panels round off what has to be one of the classiest interiors we've seen on any V-Class model, let alone such an old one.
