Here's Another Look At VW's Updated I.D. Crozz Concept

Volkswagen count themselves among many automakers looking to challenge Tesla, and they will do so with their very own zero-emission crossover.

Unveiled earlier this year under the new 'I.D.' family, it's named the Crozz, and it's based on the same architecture as the Hatch and Buzz, two other studies that will be put into production.

However, it seems that this version of the crossover show car wasn’t enough for the German automaker, as they have updated it in time for its 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show premiere. As for what's new, your guess is as good as ours in, as VW has yet to detail it.

Instead, they offer sneak peeks into some of its features, which don’t appear to have been dramatically enhanced or changed over the I.D. Crozz that debuted in Shanghai, last April.

The updated concept still carries the laser scanners that pop out of its glass roof when the driver selects autonomous driving, clean profile, and taillights joined together by a light strip, as revealed in two new teaser videos released by the manufacturer.
