Top Gear’s annual Performance Car Of The Year is here and based on the trailer alone, is shaping up to be a memorable contest.
In order to find a winner, this incredible group test will pit 12 of the market’s finest performance cars against each other through a series of track and road tests in Scotland.
Headline acts in the test are the Lamborghini Huracan Performante, McLaren 720S and Ford GT. There’s also the new Porsche 911 GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT R and two radically-different hot hatches, the Honda Civic Type R and Volkswagen Up! GTI.
Completing the slew of cars is the Mercedes-AMG E63 S, BMW M4 CS, Audi RS3 Sedan, Lexus LC500 and Audi R8 Plus Spyder.
Between now and November 1st, Top Gear will be releasing new videos and galleries in the lead-up to announcing the winner. Stay tuned.
