With the Soul EV ready, and the Niro EV going on sale next year, Kia could expand its zero-emission lineup with a Stonic EV as well.
Nothing is official at this point, but AutoExpress reports that the South Korean automaker is currently looking into such a version of the sub-compact SUV, and it's believed that it will join the family by the turn of the decade.
In the meantime, Kia is focusing on the launch of the regular Stonic versions. The first units of the vehicle will go on sale in the United Kingdom on October 23, priced from £16,295 ($22,020), which makes it £1,415 ($1,912) more expensive than an entry-level Nissan Juke.
Standard equipment includes air conditioning, heated and electric side mirrors, rear parking sensors, and 17-inch alloy wheels, among others.
