Nissan GT-R Is Straight Outta Apocalyptic Future

One might mistake this Nissan GT-R for an dystopian movie car or a sick one-off project, but in reality it's nothing more than a rendering.

Inspired by the CrossOut game and penned by YasidDesign, it has most of its bodywork stripped to a minimum and has been fitted with new fenders on all four corners and a set of chunky tires. A massive lump can be seen in the engine bay and there's a roll bar plus a set of roof-mounted machine guns that will ensure no target in sight remains alive.

Back in the real world, the Nissan GT-R was updated last year with a few visual tweaks on the outside and in the cabin. Its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 has been massaged to deliver 565 horses, a 20hp increase over the 2016MY, and a few other technical upgrades make it hotter, and at the same time more comfortable, than ever.
