If you're going to spend your hard earned money on a mid-size premium estate like the 2017 5-Series Touring, you'd probably expect it to feel and drive impeccably.
Fortunately, according to Carbuyer's review, it does. It's nimble, it's got excellent engines, and a well-dressed but also practical cabin, with plenty of leg and headroom for backseat passengers.
What the reviewer didn't like so much were all the different ways in which you can control the volume, saying that waving your finger around can be a bit gimmicky and that it doesn't even work all that well. Another issue he found was with the cheap plastic cubby holder on the driver's side.
On the road, the 520d Touring provides "decent amount of power for most people", although future customers might want to consider buying the 3.0-liter straight six diesels instead, since Touring models are more likely to carry lots of kids and baggages - therefore, they could use a bit more power to offset the extra weight.
You can watch he review, and learn the final verdict, in the video right after the jump.
