Aston Martin's Already Recalling The DB11

The Aston Martin DB11 is still as fresh as they come. In fact it hasn't even been in production for a year yet. But it's already subject to its first recall.

The twelve-cylinder luxury grand tourer apparently has a problem with its tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), which may fail to warn the driver if there isn't enough air in the tires.

Since a faulty TPMS fails to meet federal regulations, Aston Martin is recalling 319 such vehicles across the United States – all of them equipped with the 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12, since the V8 version won't begin reaching showrooms until later this year.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, that represents all the DB11s in America manufactured between November 17, 2016, and June 13, 2017. Fortunately all that will be required is a simple software update – a process which is already getting underway this month.
