Ferrari 812 Superfast, The Most Complete Ferrari Ever?

The Ferrari 812 Superfast isn't as hardcore, in-your-face or scary as the brutal F12tdf but as Drive Tribe explains, it is a better car and can achieve some remarkable things.

Jethro Bovingdon recently jumped behind the wheel of a silver 812 Superfast and took it by the scruff of the neck on some twisty Italian roads to explore its performance potential.

Since new Ferrari models generally receive rave reviews, rest assured that so did this 812 Superfast. According to Bovingdon, it is a bit of a “pussy cat” compared to the F12tdf and takes things to entirely new levels compared to the standard F12.

At the heart of the 812 Superfast is a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, the largest displacement V12 ever used by the company for a road car. It delivers a total of 800 PS (789 hp) and 718 Nm (530 lb-ft) of torque through the rear wheels via a modified 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Another important development for the new Ferrari is that it uses an electric power steering system for the first time. Does this negatively impact handling? Check out the video after the jump to find out.
