Japan is no stranger to receiving exclusive limited-edition models from luxury automakers and has just welcomed its latest, the Audi TT 1.8 Lighting Style Edition.
As the vehicle’s name indicates, it isn’t powered by the available 2.0-liter diesel or petrol engines but rather gets a 1.8-liter four-pot aided by a turbocharger and delivering 180 PS (177 hp) and 250 Nm of torque. Like the diesel model available in various markets, the 1.8-liter is paired exclusively to a front-wheel drive system.
Beyond its engine, the TT Lighting Style Edition comes equipped with the exclusive S line exterior package that includes new bumpers, a platinum grey rear diffuser and black front grille. Also standard on the car are LED headlights and 18-inch aluminium wheels. Customers will be able to choose between Gracia White Metallic, Mitos Black Metallic, Tango Red Metallic, Scuba Blue Metallic and Vegas Yellow for the exterior paint.
Local prices included tax start at 5.29 million yen ($46,242).
