Mercedes' Chief Design Officer has released a new teaser video on Instagram.
Promising a "big surprise," Gorden Wagener shows us an advanced design meeting where designers are talking about an upcoming concept car.
While the video doesn't reveal much, the designers say the concept will be an "icon" that is "very beautiful." The clip also shows several different sketches but they appear to be from previous concepts such as the IAA concept and the Vision Maybach 6 concept. However, Wagener hinted the concept's "front end will be quite different" from the IAA concept.
Wagener declined to say when the car will be unveiled but he hinted it will debut "pretty soon" and he'll see us this summer. This seems to suggest the concept could be shown at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance later this month.
If the car does debut at Pebble Beach, it will be joined by an assortment of other models including the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante and the BMW Roadster concept.
