Kia announced the pricing details of the all-new 2018 Rio sedan and five-door hatchback models.
The first examples of the 2018 Rio are expected to arrive in U.S. dealerships in early October, with Kia to offer them in three trim levels –LX, S and EX.
Compared to the previous model, the new Kia Rio gets a cleaner exterior design with the latest tiger-nose front grille along with a slightly longer body to make the interior even roomier.
Speaking of which, the cabin now comes with features like Bluetooth, a six-speaker audio system with satellite radio and a rear-view camera. Top EX models gets the seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system which comes with voice recognition, Android Auto and Apple Car Play, as well as Autonomous Emergency Braking.
The only engine option is the 1.6-liter GDI petrol unit which is good enough for 130hp and 119lb-ft of torque.
Pricing starts at $13,900 for the LX Sedan model, with the hatchback costing from $14,200. Top EX models start from $18,400 (sedan) and $18,700 (hatchback).
