Lewis Hamilton has taken a Mercedes-AMG road car around Sepang, as the famous Malaysian Grand Prix circuit is scheduled to make its Formula 1 calendar exit.
This year might be the last time those ultra-wide F1 car wheels are going to touch down in Malaysia, with Sepang soon to close its gates like other similar tracks before it, such as Istanbul Park or Korea International.
The AMG-powered vehicle Hamilton chose for this occasion was a Mercedes-AMG GT S, a car that sends all of its power to the rear wheels...and you know what that means.
As soon as the three-time F1 champion hit Turn 1, he immediately made the car go sideways, which put an instant smile on his face. In fact, the more he hooned the GT S around the track, the more he enjoyed himself, which is perfectly understandable.
In his day job, the whole point is to break traction as little as possible - and when it does happen, Formula 1 drivers usually correct their mistake in the blink of an eye.
