By staying faithful to the 991.2 GT3 while adding the rear wing and diffuser from a 911 R, Porsche have managed to build their sleekest-ever GT3 model.
Dubbed the 911 GT3 Touring Package, the car will ultimately look to provide a better "daily-driver experience" for Porsche owners, than its GT3 and 911 R siblings.
As for these images, while they were originally taken down from Autopresse, Instagram car page porschegt_nl still managed to grab hold of them, as well as some of the information found in the leaked article.
According to them, this latest 911 will be available with a manual gearbox only, mated to a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter flat six, putting down 500 horses, just like in the regular GT3. Top speed is said to be rated at 316 km/h (196 mph), which is a bit down from the GT3's 318 km/h (198 mph).
Inside, this model features an all-black layout with part cloth, part leather seats seemingly. At the same time, we can't quite tell what's going on in the back - whether or not it's got rear seats. Also, options such as carbon ceramic brakes and the Sport Chrono Pack are available.
The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package will make its official debut in Frankfurt.
