Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 Headed For A SEMA Debut

Following a preview last year, Hennessey Performance has announced plans to unveil the VelociRaptor 6x6 at the SEMA Show.

Based on the F-150 VelociRaptor, the truck follows in the footsteps of the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6 and features a massive rear bed as well as two rear axles.

Pricing starts at $295,000 and includes the base Ford F-150 Raptor as well as an upgraded Fox suspension. The truck also comes equipped with heavy duty bumpers, a roll bar, auxiliary LED lights, and 20-inch wheels with off-road tires.

A variety of different options will be available including Brembo brakes, additional LED lights, and larger tires and wheels. Customers can even order a bespoke interior and an armored variant.

Speaking of options, the truck can be equipped with a twin turbo upgrade package that enables the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine to produce more than 600 hp (447 kW). In order to achieve this impressive figure, the engine is outfitted with new turbochargers, a modified exhaust, an upgraded intercooler, and a retuned ECU.

Customers who don't want to cough up the extra cash will have to make do with the standard EcoBoost engine that develops 450 hp (335 kW) and 510 lb-ft (690 Nm) of torque.
