2018 Subaru Legacy And Outback Priced From $22,195

Subaru has released pricing information for the 2018 Legacy and Outback.

Set to go on sale this summer, the Legacy will be priced from $22,195. The car enters the 2018 model year with a host of changes including a new front fascia, a revised grille, and a modified rear bumper.

Interior updates are limited but include an improved tire pressure monitoring system, a upgraded Starlink infotainment system, and a new safety feature that automatically locks the doors when the car hits 12.5 mph (20 km/h). Engineers also improved NVH levels by adding insulated rear wheel well liners and acoustic side glass on the front doors.

The $24,295 Legacy 2.5i Premium gains a new leather-wrapped steering wheel, silver contrast stitching on the dashboard, and restyled 17-inch alloy wheels. The model also has an updated EyeSight Driver Assist Technology package which now includes Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, High Beam Assist, and an 8-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation.

Moving further up the ladder, the Legacy 2.5i Sport starts at $26,345 and includes new LED fog lights and a body-color rear spoiler. Drivers will also find a leather-wrapped steering wheel with blue stitching and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a compass and Homelink connectivity.

The $29,095 Legacy 2.5i Limited largely carries over but models equipped with EyeSight now have LED headlights with automatic height adjustment. Likewise, the Legacy 3.6R Limited starts at $31,945 and Subaru declined to mention any model specific updates.

Since the Legacy and Outback are closely related, the changes are largely identical to what has been mentioned above. Pricing starts at $25,895 and rises to $38,690 for the range-topping Outback 3.6R Touring.
