BMW M5 Has Close Call In Drag Race Against 9ff Porsche 997 Turbo

With 760 HP at its disposal, this Gorilla Performance BMW M5 F10 sure is a formidable weapon in a straight line.

However, during one of its races, it met up with a 950 HP Porsche 9ff 997 Turbo, which not only packed more of a punch, but also came close to delivering said punch in a pretty direct, and nasty, manner.

So yes, that was a pretty close call when the driver of the tuned 997 lost control of the car. Thankfully, he caught the slide in time, giving the BMW sufficient room to get away before it spun out.

The video's description raises the question of too much power in favor of the Porsche, and in this particular case, especially if the tarmac was a bit slippery (we suspect that it was), we can't help but agree.

Still, the star of the clip is undoubtedly the tuned Bimmer, which not only sounds ballistic, but is also not shying away from taking on more powerful cars such as this 997, but also a Nissan GT-R towards the end.
