We sure have spy photographers we collaborate with, but oftentimes we also have you, our readers, acting the part and sending us something interesting.
The latest comes courtesy of mister Louis D. Robert, who spotted a prototype of an SUV in Boston and was quick to nab it with his camera phone.
Now, since the test mule is wearing heavy camo, we can’t tell what model it actually is, but we can make an educated guess. In all likelihood it is a Jeep (notice the squared-off wheel arches) and, judging by the shape of the glasshouse, which for its most part is uncovered, and its overall design, we would say that it is probably the 2018 Cherokee.
We expect changes to the cabin of the Cherokee to consist mainly of some new materials and switchgear, and maybe a new infotainment system, connectivity and safety systems and trim levels, but otherwise it should remain more or less the same.
Now, for the million dollar question: if this isn’t the revamped Cherokee, then what could it be? Your guess is as good as ours, so feel free to chip in at the comments section.
