Kia has introduced a limited edition version of the new Rio family in UK, which can be ordered from £14,595 ($19,049) on the road.
Dubbed the Kia Rio Pulse, it slots between the 2 and 3 grades, and comes standard with either a Clear White or Midnight Black finish, both of which are offered as options on the rest of the supermini family.
Other features that distinguish it are the red front vents, side mirror caps, skirt trims, and roof, alongside the black grille with chrome surround, rear privacy glass, and 17-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 205/45 rubber.
Inside, the new Kia Rio Pulse benefits from black and red faux leather upholstery, red door inserts, leather-finished steering wheel and gearshifter, and stainless steel pedals. It also gets an in-car entertainment system with a 5-inch color touchscreen, DAB radio, RDS messaging, reversing camera, Bluetooth music streaming, front and rear USB charging points, a 3.5-inch cluster display, and rear parking sensors.
Active safety features include the electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, straight-line stability, cornering brake control, and hill start assist.
Those looking to buy this special edition supermini will have to settle for the 1.25-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that makes 83PS (82hp) and 121Nm (89lb-ft) of torque, and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
