A heavily modified 1966 Ford Bronco has been previewed before its global premiere at SEMA later this year.
This Bronco was created by WD-40 Co, well-regarded builder Aaron Vaccar and The Vaccar Co. After SEMA, the car will be auctioned off to raise funds for Childheld, a charity that supports abused and neglected children, and for the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund, which offers scholarships to students entering the automotive aftermarket.
Officially dubbed the WD-40/SEMA Cares Boosted Bronco, the off-roader features a blue and yellow paint scheme inspired by the colors used by WD-40’s range of products.
Additionally, the car will feature an EcoBoost engine from Ford’s arsenal, although it’s not yet known which one it will be.
Discussing his creation, Vaccar said that “The WD-40/SEMA Cares Boosted Bronco allows us to pay tribute to traditional hot-rodding standards of execution and finish with a first-of-its-kind vehicle.”
“The EcoBoost drivetrain will give the cult classic a modern spin and turbocharged power and efficiency for the future. There could not be a more iconic brand than WD-40 brand to partner with on a vehicle sure to generate excitement from Bronco, off-road and automotive enthusiasts nationwide.”
