While the revised 2017 Audi RS3 is pretty far removed from being "just" a hot hatchback, it's precisely the type of car you want if you're in need of something really fast in a compact body.
Seen here at Audi Forum Ingolstadt, this RS3 is wearing a very bright shade of red, dubbed Catalunya Red, contrasting well with the dual-tone 5-spoke wheels, as well as the gloss black honeycomb grille.
As far as hot hatchbacks go, the RS3 Sportback, and perhaps this one in particular, is not exactly discrete. In other words, you're not fooling anybody into thinking they're going to beat you off the line at a stop light.
The reason for that is of course the RS3 Sportback's lightweight 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine. It pushes down 400 PS (395 HP) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque with the help of a quick-shifting S-tronic seven speed dual-clutch automatic.
It's good enough to take you from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds. That's faster than the first-generation Audi R8, back when it first came out.
