Hot hatchback enthusiasts in the UK can now order the all-new #Ford Fiesta ST, from just under £19,000 ($25,816). First deliveries are scheduled for this summer.

The entry-level £18,995 ($25,809) price tag is for the ST-1 trim, which features a flat-bottom steering wheel, Recaro seats, ST sports suspension, electric/heated door mirrors, SYNC3 DAB radio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control and the NCAP Pack (Lane-Keeping Alert and speed limiter), all standard.

Moving forward in the range means encountering the ST-2 trim, which is priced from £19,995 ($27,168) in three-door guise and £20,645 ($28,051) as a five-door. The ST-2 adds climate control, heated Recaro front seats with blue seat belts, a B&O PLAY premium sound system and a larger 8-inch touchscreen.

As for the ST-3, to start with, it gains 18-inch alloys with red brake calipers, which on the ST-2 are £350 ($475) and £75 ($101) options, respectively. This spec also comes with sat-nav, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, Traffic Sign Recognition, auto high beam and driver alert. The ST-3 will cost you upwards of £21,495 ($29,206) if you go for the three-door, whereas the five-door starts from £22,145 ($30,089).

There are a lot of extras to be had

Buyers who require even more from their 2018 Fiesta ST can opt for the new Performance Pack, an £850 ($1,154) option for the ST-2/ST-3, which adds a Quaife limited slip differential, launch control and performance shift lights. Other extras include full LED headlights (£600/$815) and the Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert (£475/$645) – the former available on ST-2 and ST-3 models, whereas the latter is available across the range.

The new Fiesta ST can be painted in either Race Red, Frozen White, Magnetic, Moondust Silver, Shadow Black, Silver Fox or Performance Blue.

Regardless of spec, underneath the bonnet lies an all-new three-cylinder 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, producing 200 PS (197 HP) and 290 Nm (213 lb-ft) of torque. In a straight line, the Fiesta ST can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.5 seconds, before maxing out at 232 km/h (144 mph).
