Just 1,000 units of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS are tipped to be produced, meaning the car will be one of the most limited vehicles from Porsche’s GT division in recent memory.
Considering its limited availability, it goes without saying that only the brand’s most valuable customers will have the chance to own the most powerful 911 ever created. Fortunately for us mere mortals, we can at least create our dream GT2 RS with Porsche’s official online configurator.
In total, the new GT2 RS can be ordered in eight different colors and shades and can be optioned with the Weissach package, an option that first debuted with the 918 Spyder. For the GT2 RS, the package consists of new magnesium wheels and a lighter roof, anti-roll bars and coupling rods on both the axles. In our opinion, Miami Blue is the coolest color available but others, including Guards Red and Racing Yellow, are also particularly special.
As with most Porsches, interior options are extensive but curiously, the only trim colors available are red and black or all black.
To get behind the wheel of the new GT2 RS, U.S. customers will have to cough up at least $293,200 but once some options are ticked, that price quickly sky-rockets to over $300,000.
