Bentley And Bugatti Chief Wolfgang Durheimer Reportedly Looking To Step Down

Bentley is allegedly going through some internal restructures, and one of the people that are believed to step down is none other than CEO Wolfgang Durheimer.

The company's head honcho has been holding the reins of the Volkswagen Group's subsidiary since June 1, 2014, and is now reportedly looking to part ways with Bentley, according to Germany's Manager Magazin, cited by AutoNews.

There are little to no details surrounding Durheimer's decision, which hasn’t been confirmed by officials at Volkswagen and Bentley just yet, but it's apparently related to some management changes.

Taking Durheimer's current position is Jaguar Land Rover's current head of strategy, Adrian Hallmark, according to the same website. The two parties have allegedly agreed to the terms, but the contract has yet to be signed. Nevertheless, an official decision is likely to be announced soon.

Besides Bentley, Wolfgang Durheimer is also running things over at Bugatti, another company that's part of the Volkswagen Group, which is responsible for launching the mind-blowing Chiron last year, but he is believed to have expressed a desire to quit this post as well.
